...a famous quote from William Thackeray which gives a powerful message, and really, is what I aim to achieve in the photographs I take.

My Name is Shaun Smith and photography is my passion. I'm 21 and I have a BA in photography. I don't currently have one specific genre of practice in photography, as I think it's important to experiment as much as I can at such an early stage in my career.

I strive to get all the experience I can, because I love learning anything new, meeting new people and being inspired by others. I have been very lucky to gain experience from big companies such as BT, which has included a vast amount of commercial and event photography. It has also opened up doors to the sporting world, with them being sponsors of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As the quote above suggests, I don't Just want to follow the same old trend. I want to try new things and learn at the same time, sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont, but there's one thing for sure, and that is, that I will endeavor until I get a result!
